Times have changed. Having a 'Wedding Day' with all the trappings and paraphernalia is not for everyone. If you just want a simple ceremony to state your commitment to each other, we'll create a unique occasion, together.
The occasion can be as private and discreet as you like (in a special place which speaks to you both), or we can make it a public celebration with friends and family along for the ride.
We will craft a series of activities together which gives you as much or as little as you feel comfortable with, including vows, readings and music, if you would like to include that.
Although a Commitment Ceremony is not a marriage in the legal sense, we can conduct a similar sequence of events and at the end, I'll provide you with a Certificate of Commitment.
With the law as it currently stands in Australia, for a same sex couple here in New South Wales, a Commitment Ceremony is ideal for when you want to say: "We are as one" on an loving, emotional level.
So I'll commit to doing the paperwork if you'll commit to each other. What could be simpler?
